PG&E Headquarters Redevelopment
The former PG&E Headquarters in San Francisco encompasses a whole city block and is ripe for redevelopment. As a part of my UC Berkeley Masters of Real Estate Development program, I, along with my two team members, proposed a large-scale redevelopment of the former PG&E site located on Market and Mission St. in SF’s FiDi. Our proposal included reskinning the 77 Beale office tower, updating the amenity spaces, adding a rooftop garden and bar, and renaming it to 200 Mission. Converting the historic office towers on Market St. to a luxury residential project called “One Main”, tearing down the 50 Main parking garage for a future development site and temporary activation with retail and dining pop-up booths and park space. This project utilized state incentives for housing and state and federal tax credits for historic buildings.
